Bodybrainmind: seven lessons for a neuropsychoanalysis
Neuropsychoanalysis aims to check the neurobiological processes which may explain what psychoanalysis describes as psychic emotional and unconsciouss events which drive human behaviours, motivations and individual life events, and what a person believes and thinks in his/her personal consciousness. This is the study about the relations between mind and brain.
Nobody has a mind equal to an other’s one, and Neuroscience has demonstrated thet nobody has the same brain of another human being. Brain is constructed by the single person’s experience: how does it happen? What is “experience”? Is it the reality of facts, or an inner emotional reflection of them? How a brain may “have experience” ? And how by biochemical processes in the brain can produce what a person feels happening inside his/her subjectivity? Viceversa, can subjective experiences change anything in our brain?
This short book tries to outline the most general principles of Affective Neuroscience in the construction and continuous modification that happen into the individual brain in whatever personal subjective experience. Since foetal life there is a continuative reciprocal integration between body afferences, neural network, and what unconsciously happens inside the mind. “Bodybrainmind” is the word the Author introduces to underline the unity of a functioning in constructing and destructing what is the life of a person. This book is recommenden for all psychologists and psychiatrists, and students, to introduce to a more exhaustive knowledge about Neuroscience.
